			Stórólfur hét son Hængs. Hann átti Hvolinn og Stórólfsvöll. Hans son var Ormur hinn sterki. Herjólfur hét annar son Hængs. Hann átti land í Fljótshlíð til móts við Baug og út til Hvolslækjar. Hann bjó undir Brekkum. Sonur hans hét Sumarliði, faðir Veturliða skálds. Helgi var hinn þriðji son Hængs. Hann bjó á Velli og átti land til Rangár hið efra og ofan til móts við bræður sína. Vestar hét hinn fjórði son Hængs. Hann átti land fyrir austan Rangá milli og Þverár og hinn neðra hlut Stórólfsvallar. Hann átti Móeiði dóttur Hildis úr Hildisey. Þeirra dóttir var Ásný er átti Ófeigur grettir. Vestar bjó að Móeiðarhvoli. Hrafn var hinn fimmti Hængs son. Hann var fyrstur lögsögumaður á Íslandi. Hann bjó að Hofi eftir föður sinn. Þorlaug var dóttir Hrafns er átti Jörundur goði. Þeirra son var Valgarður að Hofi. Hrafn var göfgastur sona Hængs.
