Annotation
Hypothesises that Egill cuts stanzas 28 and 29 of the saga on the scorn pole; if these are transcribed into runes, the number of runes necessary comes out exactly as one of the magic futhark numbers.
Lýsing
Hér er sett fram sú kenning að Egill hafi skorið vísur 28 og 29 í sögunni á níðstöngina sem hann reisti. Ef þessar vísur eru skrifaðar með rúnaletri þá samræmist fjöldi rúnanna nákvæmlega einni galdratölu rúnastafrófsins (fúþarks).
