Annotation

Notes on AM 460 4to, a copy of Möðruvallabók probably made by Eyjólfur Björnsson. Lacunae in AM 460 4to show that the gaps in Möðruvallabók were the same as found in the manuscript today; the scribe also left spaces in his copy where he was unable to read the exemplar. Árni Magnússon made a number of additions to the manuscript including dates and chronological notes in the margin and various amendments to the text.
