Annotation

The article’s focuses on the scaldic verses Skúli himself produced. The "helmingar" that survive in Snorra Edda and Svǫlðrardrápa are examined and alternative readings to what both Finnur Jónsson and Kock suggested are offered. Wood also makes a note of the fact that the family of which Skúli descends is said to have Kveldúlfr as progenitor.
