Annotation

A. T. Glückselig provides contextualized translations of Höfuðlausn and Sonatorrek in German. Before the translated text of Höfuðlausn, he summarizes the conflict between Egill and king Eiríkr, and before Sonatorrek, the death of Böðvar and Egill's mourning. A. T. Glückselig does not precise which edition he uses as the basis of these two poems' translations.
